Mistletoe Kiss Christmas Decoration
Mistletoe is considered to be a magical plant. Associated with the winter solstice and used by ancient cultures including the Greeks and Romans to represent peace, protection and fertility. It seems this evergreen plant has always had a place in our festive traditions whether symbolic or as a place to share a little festive kiss!
These light and delicate Christmas ornaments are handmade by me using hand forged brass and a tiny vintage freshwater pearl to represent the pearlescent mistletoe berry on a silk thread.
Height - approx 6cm and Width 2cm
